1. Booking Process
Welcome to **Urban Yatras**. By booking any tour, package, transport, or travel-related service with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Upon receiving your travel inquiry or booking request, our team will assist you in creating a personalized and comfortable travel experience based on your preferences, budget, and interests. Tour plans, quotations, and booking confirmations are generally shared within 24 to 72 hours, depending on the complexity of the itinerary and service availability.
2. Booking Timeline
To ensure better availability of hotels, transportation, and other travel services, we recommend confirming your bookings at least **30 days prior** to your planned travel date. Last-minute bookings are subject to availability and may result in higher costs.
3. Payment Policy
Domestic Tour Packages (Excluding Andaman)
- 40% of the total package cost at the time of booking confirmation.
- 30% of the package cost after receiving all booking confirmations.
- Remaining 30% payable before or at the beginning of the trip.
Special Hotel Selection Packages
- 70% advance payment is required to confirm the bookings.
- Remaining 30% must be paid before the commencement of the trip.
**Flight / Train / Bus Bookings:** Full payment is required for airline tickets and certain transport bookings to secure reservations. A non-refundable booking amount may apply for hotels, transport, or special travel arrangements.
4. Payment Deadlines
All payments must be completed within the timelines communicated during the booking process. Failure to make payments by the due date may result in automatic cancellation of the booking without prior notice. Urban Yatras shall not be responsible for any loss, cancellation charges, or fare differences arising due to delayed or incomplete payments.
5. Travel Documents & Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they carry valid government-issued identification, travel documents, tickets, permits, and any other required documents during the journey. Urban Yatras shall not be responsible for any issues arising due to invalid, missing, or incorrect documents.
6. Travel Insurance
Our tour packages do not include travel insurance unless explicitly mentioned. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against trip cancellations, medical emergencies, baggage loss, accidents, delays, or unforeseen travel disruptions.
7. Refund & Unused Services
No refunds or exchanges will be provided for any unused services, missed sightseeing, skipped meals, or partially utilized tour components after the trip has commenced. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed according to our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
8. Festive Season & Peak Period Policy
Bookings made during Christmas, New Year, long weekends, festive periods, or peak travel seasons may require higher advance payments and are generally subject to strict non-refundable policies. cancellations may attract 100% cancellation charges.
9. Changes to Itinerary
Urban Yatras reserves the right to make reasonable modifications to the itinerary, hotels, transportation, sightseeing schedules, or travel arrangements due to weather conditions, operational reasons, supplier issues, natural disasters, government restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
10. Limitation of Liability
Urban Yatras acts only as a travel organizer and intermediary between customers and service providers such as hotels, airlines, transport operators, and local vendors. We shall not be liable for delays, accidents, injuries, baggage loss, weather disruptions, strikes, natural calamities, government actions, or failures caused by third-party service providers.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking with **Urban Yatras**, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions as well as the applicable Cancellation & Refund Policy.
